AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHI_ GTOIT, VACATING PORTION OF
STREET KNOWN AS SOUTH 129TH STREET BET 1EN 87TH AVENUE SOUTH AND 88TH
AVENUE SOUTH, RENTON, IJASHINGTON.
UMREAS a proper petition for vacating a portion of a certain street as herein-
aftc= more particularly described was duly filed with the City Clerk of the City of Renton
on or about June 15, 1964, said petition being signed by the owners of more than two-
thirds of the property abutting upon said ;portion of the street sought to be vacated; and
WHEREAS the City of Renton by Resolution No. 1254 and after due investigation
did fix and determine the 20th day of July, 1964, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the Council
Chambers of the City of Renton to be the time and place for public hearing thereon, and
directed the Clerk to give notice of such hearing in the manner provided by law; and such
notice having been duly C.
given and published and all persons having been heard appearing
in favor or in opposition thereto , and
WHEREAS the Planning Commisssion having heretofore recommended the vacation of
said portion of this street and said vacation is found to be in the public interest
and for the public benefit and no injury or damage to any person or properties will result
therefrom, Na.1 THEREFORE,

BE IT �. „`I177) BY THE MkYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REKTON AS
SECTION I: The following described portion of street, to -wit:
That certain portion of street known as South 129th Street
located between 87th Avenue South and 88th Avenue South,
all situate in Renton, Icing County, Washington,
BE AND THE SATE IS H-EREBY VACATED, SUBJECT to a 2,9 -foot easement for utility and other
purr,oses and said easement being centered within said right of way hereinabove described,
;which easement is hereby retained by the City for the aforesaid purposes.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage; approval and le al publication as provided by law.
