HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 3941 " , � • Amends Portions of�Qr inance � No. - 3599, 3905, 392�, 3941� A,,.��,► � '. 434 9� CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON ORDINANCE NO. 3941 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING A PORTION OF SECTIONS �-704 , 4-706, 4-707 and 4-708 OF TITLE IV (BUILDING REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF RENTON" RELATING TO ACCESSORY USES IN Ft-I, R-1-5 , G-1 AND R-2 RESIDENTIAL ZONES THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION I: Existing subsection (B) 2 a. of Section 4-704 Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 4-704 (B) 2 a. , as amended: The following accessory buildings are permitted in G-1 General zones as supports for the residential activity: (1) A maximum of two (2) detached buildings and/or structures, up to a maximum of seven hundred and twenty (720) square feet for each building, such as are ordinarily associated with single family dwellings; or (2) One (1) detached building or structure up to a maximum of one thousand (1 ,000) square feet for each building, such as is ordinarily associated with single family dwellings; or (3) The total floor area of all accessozy buildings shall not be greater than the floor area of the primary residential use . (4) The lot coverage of the residential structure along with all accessory buildings shall not exceed the maximum lot coverage of this zoning district. -1- � . , . • • �� • � ORDINANCE N0. 3941 SECTION II: Existing subsection (B) 2 a. of Section 4-706 , Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 4-706 (B) 2 , a. , as amended: The following accessory buildings are permitted in R-1Residen_�i.alzones as supports for the residential activity: (1) A maximum of two (2) detached buildings and/or structures, up to a maximum of seven hundred and twenty (720) square feet for each building, such as are ordinarily associated with single family dwellings; or ' (2) One (1) detached building or structure up to a maximum of one thousand (1,000) square feet for each building, such as is ordinarily associated with single family dwellings; or (3) The total floor area of all accessory buildings shall not be greater than the floor area of the primary residential use . SECTION IV: Existing subsection (B) 2, a. of Section 4-708 Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 4-708 (B) 2 . a. , as amended: The following accessory buildings are permitted in the R-2 Residential Zone as supports for the residential activity: (1) A maximum of two (2) detached buildings and/or structures, up to a maximum of seven hundred and twenty (720) square feet for each building, such as are ordinarily associated with single family and duplex dwellings: or (2) One (1) detached building or structure up to a maximum of one thousand (1 ,000) square feet for each building, such as is ordinarily associated with single family and duplex dwellings; or -3- J � •♦ . . , � � � , � ORDINANCE N0. 3941 (3) The total floor area of all accessory buildings shall not be greater than the floor area of the primary residential use .
