ORDINANCE NO. 3955
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING A PORTION OF TITLE IV (BUILDING
REGULATIONS) OF ORDINANCE NO. 1628 ENTITLED
"CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF
RENTON" PERMITTING HOBBY KENNELS AND KENNELS
IN MANUFACTURING PARK ZONE, OFFICE PARK ZONE,
LIGHT INDUSTRY ZONE AND HEAVY INDUSTRY ZONE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN
PS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing subsection (B) (1) of Section 4-730 of
Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code
of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended by adding
the following subsection:
Section 4-730 (B) (1) (h) : Hobby Kennels: A maximum of eight (8 )
adult dogs or cats may be permitted after satisfaction of the requirements
in Section 4-749 (C) l.a.
SECTION II: Existing subsection (B) (1) of Section 4-718 of Title
IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of ,
General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended by adding
the following subsection:
Section 4-718 (B) (1) (j ) : Hobby Kennels: A maximum of eight (8)
adult dogs or cats may be permitted after satisfaction of the requirements
in Section 4-749 (C) l .a.
SECTION III: Existing subsection (B) (1) (b) of Section 4-712 , Title
IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code of General
Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended by adding the
following subsections:

Section 4-712 (B) (1) (b) 21. Hobby Kennels: A maximum of eight
(8) adult dogs or cats may be permitted after satisfaction of the
requirements in Section 4-749 (C) l.a.
22 . Kennels: See Section 4-702 K 1 and Section 4-749 C 2 .

SECTION IV: Existing subsection (B) (1) (b) of Section 4-713 ,
Title IV (Building Regulations) of Ordinance No. 1628 entitled "Code
of General Ordinances of the City of Renton" is hereby amended by
adding the following subsections:
Section 4-713 (B) (1) (b) 20. Hobby Kennels: A maximum of eight
(8) adult dogs or cats may be permitted after satisfaction of the
, requirements in Section 4-749 (C) l.a.
21 . Kennels: See Section 4-702 (K) 1 and Section 4-749 (C) 2 .
SECTION V: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its passage,
approval and thirty days after publication.
