~ (Regarding Petition to Vacate Alley) t
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON:
Section 1: WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the
City Clerk by more than two thirds of the owners requesting that the
alley abutting the following tract, to -wit:
Lots 1 to 21 inclusive, of Block 121 Renton Highlands
Addition to Renton, situated in the County of King,
State of Washington.
BE (VACATED); said petitioners being the owners of the private property
abutting upon said alley and said petitioners hereby give and grant unto
the City of Renton a utility easement, right-of-way, privileges and rights
to enter upon and construct upon the above described lands for any and
all public or municipal utility purposes;
Section 2: NOW THEREFORE, the 30th day of January, 19519
at the hour of 8 P.M. in the City Council Chambers in the City Hall of
Renton, Renton, Washington, be and is hereby fixed as the time and place
for public hearing to be held by the Council upon said petition.
Section 3: The City Clerk is directed to give notice of
said hearing in the manner provided by law by posting said notice thereof
in three public places in the City and in a conspicuous place on the
alley sought to be vacated, which notice shall state the object of said
petition and the hearing, the description of the alley involved and the
time and place of hearing thereon.
PASSED by the City Council of Renton this 19th day of
December, 1950.
