THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PENTON, WASHINGTON, DO RESOLVE AS
F OLLDIS :
(1) WHEREAS, a proper (petiti on for annexation) t o the City of Renton
accompanied by plat or drawing, signed by the owners of more than 75% in
value of the property therein described by legal sub -divisions or plats
and proposed for annexation, has been filed with the City Clerk of the
City of Renton;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Renton, that Tuesday, June 26, 1951, at 8 o'clock P.M. at the City Council
Chambers in the City Hall in the City of Renton be and is hereby fixed as
the time and place for public hearing on the aforementioned petition.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of
Renton cause one publication of notice of such hearing to be published as
provided by law, specifying the time and place of hearing and inviting all
interested persons to appear and voice approval or disapproval of the an-
nexation; and that such notice be posted in three (3) public places with-
in the territory proposed for annexation at least one (1) week prior to
such hearing.
(2) The territory referred to in aforesaid petition and described
therein, and referred to hereinabove, which is proposed for such annexa-
tion is as follows:
Portion of Section 18, Township 23 North, Range 5 E., W.M.,
described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the southerly line of Renton
Avenue, which is also the present Renton City Limit line, and
the West line of Tract 62 N.H.Lattimer's Lake Washington Plat
produced south: thence northerly along said west line and the
production northerly of said line to intersection with southeast-
erly line of 91st Place South; thence along said southeasterly
line of 91st Place South to point of intersection of said south-
easterly line with the westerly line of Primary State Highway
No.5; thence east to intersection of the present Renton City
Limit line on east line of said Highway No. 5; thence southerly,
southeasterly, westerly and southwesterly along said Renton City
limit line to point of beginning, King County, Washington.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council this 22nd day of May, 1951.
