WHEREAS, the hereinafter named employees of the City of Renton
are members of the 'Washington Statewide City Employees t Retirement
System, in the classification of MISCELLANEOUS PER 'ONKEL, and said
persons having attained the compulsory retirement age, but said persons
being presently physically fit to continue such employment and service
with the City of Renton and said persons having requested an extension
of time under the provisions of the Compulsory Retirement System, and
the City Council of the City of Renton having due regard for such an
extension for the purpose of correlating such present benefits with
the benefits to be derived from certain Social Security enabling
r legislation, recently enacted into law and designated as Chapter IV,
Laws of Extraordinary Session, 1955,
N09, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
,,-'PF RENTON AS FOLLOWS:
That the time of retirement of the following named employees of
the City of Renton, for the reason specified above, and they being
members of the Washington Statewide City Employeest Retirement System,
under the classification of MISCELLANEOUS PERSONNEL, to -wit:
11ILLIAM H. WATHINS
EMMON H. BEIL
EDWARD BUNSTINE
Be and the same is hereby extended for a period of six months
from date hereof.
A copy of this Resolution, adopted pursuant to Section XIV,
Chapter 71, Laws of 1947, as amended, shall be transmitted by the
Clerk of the City of Renton to the Board of Trustees of the aforesaid
4ashington .Statewide City Employees t Retirement System.
