RESOLUTION NO.
A Resolution of the City of Renton establishing and fixing subsistence
rates for members of the City Council, the Mayor, Commissions or Boards, and
salaried personnel of the City of Renton, Washington,,
BE IT RESOIYED by the Mayor and the City Council of the C-i_ty of Renton,
Washington, as follows: '.
SECTION I: Subsistence rates to be paid to the Mayor, members of the
City Council, Boards or Commissions of the City of Renton are hereby fixed in the
amount of $15*00 per day inside the State of Washington and $20.00 per day outside
the State of Washington; and salaried employees in the amount of $12.00 per day,
within the State of Washingtan and $17.00 per day outside the State of Washington,
when away from the City of Renton on official, authorized City business. In case
of salaried employees the proper Department Head shall determine when an employee
may be authorized to attend official City business; in case of the City Council,
Boards or Commissions the majority of its members shall determine the authorized
attendance at such official City business.
SECTION II: That in addition thereto there shall be allowed and paid
actual transportation expense or an allowance of 10¢ per mile for the use of a
personal car, when authorized, plus any taxi fare, long distance telephone calls
or related expenses necessarily incident to the performance of official, authorized
City business.
SECTION M: In computing the subsistence allowance above specified the
calendar day (midnight to midnight) shall be the computation unit and for fractional
parts of the day one-fourth of the allowance for the calendar day shall be allowed
for each period of six hours or fraction. thsreofe
