SECTION 2 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1143 AS HERETOFORE AMENDED BY
ORDINANCE NO. 1240, ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO TRAFFIC AND
r REGULATING THE USE OF PUBLIC STREETS AND HIGHWAYS IN THE CITY OF RENTON:
PROVIDING FOR THE INSTALLATION, REGULATION AND CONTROL OF THE USE OF
PARKING METERS AND PARKING METER ZONES:.DEFINING PARKING METER ZONES:
AUTHORIZING A METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR PARKING METERS AND THE INSTALLATION
THEREOF EXCLUSIVELY FROM THE RECEIPTS OBTAINED FROM THEIR OPERATION:
PROVIDING FOR ENFORCEMENT AND PENALTY FOR VIOLATION THEREOF: CREATING
A PARKING METER FUND, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY".

THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1143 as heretofore amended by Ordinance

Railroad right-of-way
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED TO READ AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 2: The following described streets in the City of Renton are hereby
designated and established as parking meter zones, to -wit:
Third Avenue from Shattuck Street to Mill Street
Williams Street from Second Avenue to Fourth Avenue
Wells Street beginning at a point approximately 235 feet
south of the intersection of Commercial Waterway N6.2
south right-of-way line and continuing south on Wells
Street to Fourth Avenue
Main Street from Second Avenue to Fourth Avenue.
SECTION 3: That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed.
SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage, publication and approval as provided by law.
