ORDINANCE NO. 1434.
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1355,
RELATING TO CHANGES IN BOUNDARIES OF PRECINCTS 11 and 12.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON:
WHEREAS, Precincts 11 and 12, as outlined, under Section No. 2 of Ordinance
No. 1355 are improperly divided and in order to have a uniform registration in
said precincts,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON:
Section 1: That the boundary of Precinct #11, described as follows:
PRECINCT #11: "Beginning at the intersection of Grant Street, extended, with
Cedar River; northwest along Cedar River to Bronson Way Bridge; Southwest
along Bronson Way to Main Street; South on Main Street to south City limits,
east along 7th Avenue to Grant Street, north on Grant Street, extended, to
Cedar River; the place of beginning."
be and the same is hereby changed to read as follows:
PRECINCT #11: "Beginning at the intersection of Cedar Street, extended north-
erly with Cedar River; northwest along Cedar River to Bronson Way Bridge;
southwesterly along Bronson Way to Main Street; south on Main Street to south
City limits;;east along 7th Avenue to Renton Street; north on Renton Street to
Beacon Avenue; northwest on Beacon Avenue to Cedar Street; north on Cedar Street,
extended, to it's intersection with Cedar River, to point of beginning."
Section 2: That the boundary of Precinct #12, described as follows:
PRECINCT #12: "Beginning at the Southeast corner of the City limits on 7th
Avenue extended, north along City limit line to Cedar River; thence north-
west along Cedar River to Grant Street extended; thence South on Grant Street
to 7th Avenue; thence West on 7th Avenue to Cedar Street; south along Renton
City limit line to 8th Avenue extended, East along 5th Avenue extended, to
Renton Street; South along Renton Street following Renton City limits to 9th Ave-
nue, -East along 9th Avenue to Jones Street; North on Jones Street to 7th Avenue;
East on 7th Avenue extended, to Southeast corner of City limit, place of begin-
ning.11

PRECINCT #12: "Beginning at the southeasterly City limit corner of 7th Avenue;
north along easterly City limits to its intersection with Cedar River; north-
westerly along Cedar River to the intersection of Cedar Street extended northerly
with Cedar River; southerly along Cedar Street extended to Beacon Avenue; south-
easterly along Beacon Avenue to Renton Street; south along Renton Street to 7th
Avenue; westerly along 7th Avenue to Cedar Street; southerly along Cedar Street
to 8th Avenue extended; easterly along 8th Avenue extended to Renton Street;
south along Renton Street to corner of City limits; thence easterly to Grant
Street; thence south along Grant Street to 9th Avenue; thence east along 9th
Avenue to Jones Street; thence following City limits to point of beginning."
Section 3: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five days from and
after its passage, approval and publication.
Section 4: A certified copy of this Ordinance shall be transmitted to the
King County Election Board.
PASSED by the City Council this 29th day of July, 1952.
