AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, ADOPTING A CITY BUDGET FOR
THE YEAR 1956.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1: That the budget for the City of Renton for the year 1956 prepared and
filed with the City Clerk, as modified and approved by vote of the City Council
October 4th, 1955, after due notice and hearing, be and is hereby in all respects
ratified and adopted as such budget, same being by this reference incorporated
herein as if fully set forth.
SECTION 2: That there be and are hereby allowed and established the following
total sums for expenditures in each of the folloviing classifications in said 1956
budget, to -wit:
Salaries and wages . . . . . . . . . . . $648,423.39
Maintenance & Operation . . . . . . . . . 360,352.30
Capital Outlay . . . . . . . . . . . . . 304, 716.47
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1182 . . . . . . . . 16,626.84
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1183 . . . . . . . . 14,860.11
Cumulative Reserve Fund #1184 . . . . . . . . 30,698.64
Interest & Bond Redemption . . . . . . . . . . 72,112.81

SECTION 3: That a copy of the budget as hereby adopted be transmitted to the
Office of the State Auditor of Washington, Division of Municipal Corporations.
SECTION 4: That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication.
