AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON'S WASHINGTON, AMENDING
THE "CITY OF RENTON BUILDING -CODE", KNOWN AS CHAPTER 1,
TITLE IV, OF "CODE OF GENERAL ORDINANCES OF THE CITY 'OF
RENTON" BY ADDING.A NEW SECTION THERETO,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY -OF RENTON
AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION I: Existing,Section 2805 (a) 2 of Chapter 28 of the."City of
Renton Building Code" as contained in Chapter 1, Title IV of the "CODE OF GENERAL
ORDINANCES:OF THE CITY OF RENTONIf reading as follows:
"Sec. 2805 (a) 2. For Type V buildings (except Group H and I
occupancies), isolated piers of solid.masonry.or concrete .may
be used for post and girder construction,
BE AND THE SAME IS HEREBY AMENDED,- by adding one additional paragraph thereto,,
to be known hereafter as Section 2805 (a) 2 and 2b, reading as follows.:
Section.2805 (a) 2.: For Type V buildings (except Group H and I
occupancies), isolated piers of solid masonry or concrete may be used for post
and girder construction.
Section 2805 (a) 2b as amended: Used car lots may be allowed two
temporary buildings on their premises for the operation of their business. One
such building, not to exceed 10 feet by 12 feet,.or 120 square feet, shall be
allowed for office use. The other such building,.not to exceed 8 feet by 10
feet, or 80 square feet, may be used as an accessory or storage building,
provided, however, that the Building Inspector and the Fire Department have
duly approved, prior to any such use or occupancy, such building or buildings
and issued a written permit therefor.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from,
and after its passage, approval and legal publication as provided by law.
