AN ORDINANCE OF THE.CITY=OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, AMENDING
SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 1663.
WHEREAS, the City of .Renton heretofore passed Ordinance No.. 1663,
annexing certain teaitory to the.City of Renton, which -Ordinance was duly passed
and approved by the City. -Council and the Mayor, respectively, under date of Janu-
ary 14, 1958, and WHEREAS it has been. .determined that the legal description of the
properties annexed thereby contained certain .discrepancies, and WHEREAS it is ad-
visable to correct said legal description in order to have same conform to the
official records of the King_County Engineering,Department, NOW THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON
AS .FOLLOWS :
SECTION I: Existing,Section I of:Ordinance No. 1663 reading as follows:
"SECTION I: Pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 128 of the 1945
Session laws of the State of Washington, it is determined that the above men•
tioned petition for annexation to the City of -Renton of the property and
territory hereinbelow described, be and it is hereby approved and granted,
and the following described property, being contiguous to the city limits.
of the City of Renton situated in -King County, State of Washington, be and
the same is hereby annexed to the City of Renton, effective on and after
the passage,,approval and publication of this ordinance; and on.and after
said date said territory shall constitute a part of the City of Renton and
shall be subject to all the laws and ordinances then thereafter enforced;
said property being described as follows::
A portion of the Southwest Quarter of the -Southwest Quarter of
Section 7.23.5 and more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the South line of 96fith 124th_.Street
produced -East to the East line of 87th Avenue South; thence South along
the East line of 87th Avenue South 334.87 feet to the true point of
beginning; thence West along a line which intersects the East line of
84th Avenue South at a point 321.08 feet South of the South line of
South 124th Street; thence South along .tn.e.East line of 84th Avenue
South 331.08 feet; thence East 527.55 feet along a line, the Easterly
terminus being 662.16 feet North of the South line of the Southwest
Quarter of Section 7"23.5; thence South and parallel to the East line
of 84th Avenue South to the South line of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 7.23-5; thence East along the South line of.S'ection 7.23.5 to
the East line of 87th Avenue South; thence North along the.East line
of 87th Avenue South to the true point.of beginning."
BE.AND THE SAM IS HEREBY -CORRECTED AND AMENDED TO READ AS :FOLLOWS:

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage,- approval and legal publication.
