HomeMy WebLinkAboutORD 1365ORDINANCE N0, 1365 AN ORDINANCE APPROVING AND CONFIRMING THE ASSESSMENT AND ASSESSMENT ROLL OF LOCAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT #227., FOR THE IMPROVEMENT OF MORRIS STREET FROM SECOND AVENUE TO THIRD AVENUE BY PAVING., INSTALLING CURBS AND DRAINS., AND OTHER WORK AS NECESSARY IN CONNECTION THEREWITH., UNDER ORDINANCE NO. 1344, AND LEVYING AND ASSESSING THE AMOUNTS THEREOR AGAINST THE SEVERAL LOTS., TRACTS., PARCELS OF LAND., AND OTHER. PROPERTY AS SHOWN ON SAID ROLL, AND ESTABLISHING A LOCAL IMPROVEMENT FUND., ALL IN THE CITY OF RENTON. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Sectiones That the assessment and assessment roll of Local Improvement District No. 227., for the improvement of Morris Street from Second Avenue to Third Avenue by paving., installing curbs and drains., and other work as necessary in connection therewith., all in the City of Renton., under Ordinance No. 1344, as the same now stands., be., and the same is., hereby in all things approved and confirmed. Section 2: That each of the lots., tracts., parcels of land and other property shown upon said roll is hereby declared to be specially benefitted by said improvement in at least the amount charged agAinst the same and that the assessment appearing against the same is in proportion to the several assessments appearing upon said roll. There is hereby levied and assessed against each such lot., tract., parcel of land and other property appearing upon such roll the amount finally charged against the same thereon. Section 3s For the purpose of this improvement there is hereby created and established a special fund to be called "Local Improvement Fund., District No, 227, Sectio This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5) days from and after its passage., approval and legal publication.
