ORDINANCE NO. 1367
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE
ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN TRACTS IN THE CITY FROM RESIDENTIAL TO
INDUSTRIAL USE . DISTRICT.
WHEREAS under Ordinance No. 1164 and the maps adopted in conjunction
therewith as amended, the tracts hereinbelow described have heretofore
been zoned as Residential Use District, and
WHEREAS under the provisions of Section XV of aforesaid Ordinance,•
a proper petition for change of zone classification of said tracts to
Industrial Use District has been filed -with the Clerk of the City of
Renton, and the Planning Commission of said City having recommended such
change of classification, and public hearing having been had on said
petition by the City Council on December 6, 191+9, pursuant to Notice of
Hearing regularly published, and no protests having been made or filed,
NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section I: The following described tracts in the City of Renton
are hereb rezoned and reclassified as an Industrial Use District, and
the'City Engineer is hereby directed to change the maps of the maps of
the zoning ordinance of the City to show this change; said tracts being
described as:
That portion of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter
of Sec. 8, Township 23 North, range 5, EWM: described as follows:
Commencing at a bolt set in the concrete pavement at the inter-
section.of Railroad Avenue and 4th Avenue North as located in
the City of Renton, Wash.; thence north 89019i1+5" east, 100.81
feet; thence north 22+4140" east 32.69 feet to the intersection
of the north line of 4th Avenue north and the southeasterly line
of the Pacific Coast Railroad Company right of way, the true
point of beginning; thence north 89019145" east along said north
line of 4th Avenue North 114.76 feet to the westerly line of
State Road No. 2; thence north 9043'45" east along said westerly
line 19.2 -feet to a point of curve; thence continuing northeasterly
along said westerly line 230 feet, more or less, to the southerly
line of road deeded to King County by deed, recorded in volume 928
of deed, page 485, auditor's file No. 1031068, records of said
county, now known as Pierce Street in the City of Renton; thence
westerly alongg said southerly line on a curve to right, of a radius
of 220.98 feet, 73 feet, more or less, to a point of tangent;
thence continuing along said southerly line south 89019145" west
17 feet more or less, to the southeasterly line of the Pacific
Coast Railroad Company's right of way; thence south 22044140" west
along said southeasterly line 247.30 feet to the true point of
beginning; King County, Wash.
Section 2: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five (5)
days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
