AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,.ESTABLISHING CROSSWALK
AND BUS LOADING ZONES; REGULATING PARKING OF VEHICLES OR CERTAIN
STREETS AND ALLEYS; DESIGNATING 11K" STREET TO BE AN ARTERIAL HIGHWAY;
AND PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF,
PE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON:
SECTION: 1 "K" Street is hereby designated as an arterial highway in
the City of Renton, and shall be marked as such by stop signs placed where appropriate.
SECTION 2: A bus zone, to be used as a bus stop for the loading and
discharging of bus passengers, is hereby established on the north side of Third
Avenue, from Shattuck Street extending west a distance of sixty (60) feet.
SECTION 3: A bus zone, to be used as a bus stop for the loading and
discharging of bus passengers, is hereby established on the south side of Third. Avenues
from Shattuck Street extending east a distance of sixty (60) feet.
SECTION 4: A bus zones to be used as a bus stop for the loading and
discharging of bus passengers, is hereby established on the south side of Third
Avenue from Morris Street extending east a distance of Fifty (50) feet.
SECTION 5: A bus zones to be used as a bus stop for SCHOOL BUSSES, for
parking, loading and discharging passengers, is hereby established on the west side
of Garden Street, from Fourth Avenue North extending south a distance of one -hundred
(100) feet.
SECTION 6: a bus zones to be used as a bus stop for SCHOOL BUSSES only,
for parking, loading and discharging passengers, is hereby established on the East
side of 84th Avenue South in front of the Earlington School, beginning at a point
which is Two Hundred and Fifty (250) feet South from Langston Road and extending
South a distance of One Hundred and Twenty -Five (125) feet. There shall be no parking
of any vehicle other than School busses within said bus zone on any school day between
the hours of 8:00 A.m., and 5:00 P.M.
SECTION 7: There shall be no parking of any vehicle other than School
busses along the west side of Garden Street between Fourth Avenue North and Third
Avenue North on any school day, between the hours of 8:00 A.M., and 5:00 P.M.
SECTION 8: There shall be no parking of any vehicle along the east
side of Garden Street between Fourth Avenue North and Third Avenue North, for any
longer continuous period than one hour between the hours of 8:00 A.M.., and 6:00 P.M.,
except on Sundays and holidays.

SECTION 9: Between the hours of 8:00 A.M... and 6:00 P.M., on
every day except Sundays and holidays$ there shall be no parking of motor vehicles
for a longer continuous period than one hour on either side of Logan Street between
Second Avenue and Third Avenue.
SECTION 10: There shall be no parking of any vehicle at any time
along the south side of Bronson Way North., between Garden Street and Factory Street.
SECTION 11: There shall be no parking of vehicles at any time in
the alley extending from Whitworth Street west One Hundred and Thirty—one (131)
feet in the block lying between Second Avenue and Third Avenues except for loading
and unloading of vehicles and then only during the time actually required to load
or unload same. No vehicle shall at any time be parked for any purpose opposite any
building entrance opening on said alleys but such entrances shall be kept clear for
emergency fire exit purposes.
SECTION 12: A Pedestrian Cross-Jdalk is hereby established across
Wells Streets at a place approximately midway between Second Avenue and Third Avenues
for the use of pedestrians crossing said Wells Street; which cross—walk shall be
ten (10) feet wide, and shall be so located that the southerly margin of said cross—
walk shall be Two Hundred and Fifty (250) feet more or less north from Third Avenue.
SECTION 13: Any person' firm or corporation violating any of the
provisions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and on conviction
thereof shall be fined in any sum not exceeding $25.00.
SECTION 14; This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five
(5) days from and after its passages approval and legal publication.
