AN ORDINANCE of the City of Fenton limiting parking of motor
vehicles on certain portions of Wells Street and -Williams Street;
establishing parking meter zones therein; and providing penalties
for violation thereof.
THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Between the hours of 8 A.M. and 6 P.M. no motor
vehicles shall be parked for more than one hour at any point on
Wells Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue nor on Williams Street
between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue, in the City of Renton.
Section 2. The above described portion of Wells Street between
4th Avenue and 5th Avenue and the above described portion of Williams
Street between 4th Avenue and 5th Avenue are hereby designated and
established as parking meter zones and the Mayor is hereby authorized
to provide for the installation of parking meters and/or parking
signs thereon, including curb or street marking lines and for the
regulation and operation thereof pursuant to Ordinance No. 1143.
Section 3. Violation of any provision hereof, or of any rule
or regulation established hereunder, by any person, firm or corpor-
ation, shall be punishable upon conviction thereof by a fine not
exceeding $50.00 or imprisonment not to exceed ten days or by both
such fine and imprisonment.
Section 4. The provisions of this Ordinance shall be deemed
additional to and not in derogation of Section 33, Chapter 7, of
Ordinance No. 1048 and any amendments thereof.
Section 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five days from and after its passage, approval and publication.
