AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, CHANGING,THE CLASSIFICATION
OF Lots 3-4 and 5, Block 1, Plat of the Town of Renton, Less portions previ-
ously zoned as C-1;.Lots 1-2-3-4 and portion of Lot 5 not previously zoned and
Lots 8-9-10-11-12 and 13, -all in Block 2, Plat of the Town of Renton; Lots 11-
12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19, Block 10, Plat of the Town of Renton-; Lots 1 and 2,
Block 27, Plat of the Town of Renton; Lots 16 to 25 inclusive, Block 33,
Smithers First Addition to Renton* Beginning on the westerly marginal line of
the Sunset Highway (State Road #2J 300 feet south of the south line of 4th
Avenue North in the City of Renton, Washington, running thence southwesterly
along said westerly line of Highway 888 feet, thence N. 670 15' W 16 feet to
easterly line of Pacific Coast R.R.Right of Way., thence N 220 441 E along said
Right of Way 83$ feet, thence S 670 151 E 149.75 feet to beginning; Beginning
at a point 240 feet east of the southwest corner Block 1 Plat of the Town of
Renton, thence east to southwesterly line'of Commercial Waterway Number 2,
thence southeasterly on said Waterway line to Houser Way, thence southwesterly
along Houser Way to the east line of Block 2,.Plat of the Town of Renton
and thence north to point of beginning;.Beginning at the intersection of the
south line of Section 8, Township 23 N. Range 5 East of W. M.., and the easterly
marginal line of the Right of Way of State Road No. 2 in the City of Renton,
Washington, running thence northeasterly along said marginal line 370 feet
more or less to the southwesterly line of Lot 15, Block 1, Windsor Hills
Addition to the City of Renton,.thence southeasterly on said Lot line to a
oint 100 feet distant from the easterly marginal line of the said State Road
2, thence southwesterly parallel to and 100 feet distant from said marginal
line to intersection with the south line of said Section 8 and thence west on
Section line to beginning, all situated in 'the City'of Renton, King County,
Washington, from RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO COMMERCIAL USE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, Under Ordinance No. 1164, and the maps adopted in conjunction
therewith, the above described property was zoned as residential, and
WHEREAS, Under the provisions of Section XV, proper petition for change
of zone classification to commercial was filed; the Planning Commission
having concurred in such change and public hearing having been held and no
protests having been filed, now therEfore,
The City Council of the City of Renton, Washington, do ordain as follows:
SECTION I: That Lots 3-4 and 5, Block 1, Plat of Town of Renton, less
portions previously zoned as C-1; Lots 1-2-3-4 and portion of Lot 5 not
previously zoned and Lots .8-9-10-11-12 and 13, all in Block 2, Plat of the
Town of Renton; Lots 11-12-13-14-15-16-17-18-19, Block 10, Plat of the
Town of Renton; Lots 1 and 2, Block 27, Plat of the Town of Renton; Lots 16
to 25 inclusive,•Block 33, Smithers First Addition to Renton; Beginning on
the westerly marginal line of the Sunset Highway (State Road•#2) 300 feet
south of the south line of 4th Avenue North in the City of Renton, Washington,
running thence southwesterly along said westerly line of Highway A88 feet,
thence N. 670 15' W 133.75 feet, thence N 220 441 E. 50 feet, thence N. 670
15t W 16 feet to easterly line of Pacific Coast R. R.Right of Way, thence N
220 44' E along said Right of Way 838 feet, thence S 670 151 E 149..75 feetto
beginning, and

Beginning at a point 240 feet east of the southwest corner Block 1 Plat
of the Town of Renton,,thence east to southwesterly line of Commercial
Waterway Number 2, thence southeasterly on said Waterway Line to Houser
Way, thence southwesterly along Houser Way to the east line of Block 2,
Plat of the Town of Renton and thence north to point of beginning;
Beginning at the intersection of the south line of Section 8, Township 23
N. Range 5 east of W. M.,, and the easterly marginal line of the Right of
Way of State Road No. 2 in the City of Renton, Washington, running thence
northeasterly along said marginal line 370 feet more or less to the south-
westerly line of Lot 15, Block 1, Windsor Hills Addition to the City of
Renton, thence southeasterly on said lot line to a oint 100 feet distant
from the easterly marginal line of said State Road �2; thence southwesterly
parallel to and 100 feet distant from said marginal line to intersection
with the south line of said Section 8 and thence west on Section line to
beginning, all situated in the City of Renton, King County, Washington, be
classified as Commercial Use and the City Engineer is hereby directed to
change the maps of the zoning ordinance of the City of Renton to show
this change.
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect five
days from and after its legal publication, passage and approval.
