AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON , WASHINGTON, CHANGING THE
CLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF
THE CITY FROM RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT TO COMMERCIAL USE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, under Ordinance No. 1164, and the maps adopted in con-
junction therewith, the following described areas within the City of
Renton were zoned as residential, and
WHEREAS, under the provisions of Section 15, proper petition for
change of zone classification to commercial use district was filed; same
having been referred to the Planning Commission, and the Planning Comm-
ission having concurred in such change of classification, and after due
notice of public hearing having been held, no protest having been filed,
now therefore
The City Council of the City of Renton, Washington, do ordain as
follows:
Section 1: That the following described areas within the corporate
limits of the City of Renton, Washington, be classified as commercial
use, and the City Engineer is hereby directed to change the maps of the
zoning ordinance of the City to show the change from residential to
commercial use district of the following described areas, to wit:
(a) Beginning at intersection of south line of 4th Avenue
North in City of Renton and the east line .of Pacific
Coast Company Railroad Right of Way running thence east
to State Road #2 (Sunset Highway) thence southwesterly
along westerly line of said Highway 300 feet more or
less thence northwesterly at right angles to said High-
way to Easterly line of Pacific Coast Company's right of
way and thence northeasterly to beginning.
(b) Portion of Lots 5 and 7 and all of Lot 6, Block 2,
Town of Renton.
(c) Tax Lot #73, described as follows: Beginning at Inter-
section of center line of Bronson Way and center line
of Pacific Coast Company's right of way in the City of
Renton running thence north 490 50143" east, 372.81 feet
to true beginning; thence north 22* 42' east 100 feet;
thence north 67* 18' west 133.75 feet to a point 36
feet from center line of Pacific Coast R. R.; thence
south 2242' west 100 feet and thence south 67* 18' east
133.75 feet to true beginning, also to include property
between the above described property and Bronson Way North
not now zoned as C-1.

(d) Beginning at a point on the southerly line of Grady
Way 150 feet northeast of the intersection of said
southerly line with east line of 'dells Street, ex-
tended to the south running thence southwest along
Grady way 150 feet thence south on the east line of
Wells Street extended a distance of 80 feet; thence
east 60 feet; thence northeast parallel with Grady
Way and 100 feet southeasterly therefrom a distance
of 80 feet; thence north 6* 30' west 130 feet, more
or less to beginning.
Section 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect five
days from and after its passage, approval and legal publication as re-
quired by law.
