AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RMTTON, WASHINGTON, AkENDING SECTION
FOUR OF ORDINANCE #1211, ENTITLED, "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHIiIGTON, FIXING THE LICENSE FEES OF PINBALL MACHINES AND SIMILAR
GAMES OF SKILL 01ITHIN THE CITY OF RENTON, PROVIDING A PENALTY FOR THE
VIOLATION HEREOF, REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 1207 AND ALL OTHER ORDINANCES
AND PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HERYNITH".
The City Council of the City of Renton, Washington, do ordain
as follows:
Section 1: That Section Four of Ordinance #1211, reading as
follows: "The license fees to be charged hereunder shall be and are
$5000.00 per year, for a master license and $20.00 per month for a
sub .license. The license period for a master license shall begin on
January first and end on December thirty-first of each year. The
license for a sub -license shall begin on the first-day of the month
and end on the last day of such month. No license shall be issued for
a fractional period, provided, however, that the master license fee for
the balance of the year 1945 shall be $4,166.67," be and the same here-
by is repealed and re-enacted to read as follows:
Section 4: The license fees to be charged hereunder shall be and
are $5000.00 per year, for a master license, and $10.00 per month for
a sub -license. Provided, however, that each master license must carry
and pay for at least 35 sub -licenses.. The license period for a master
license shall begin January 1, and end December 31st of each year. The
license period for a sub -license shall begin on the first day of the month
and end on the lr.a:>t day of such month. No license shall be issued for a
fractional period.
SECTION 2: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect on
and after January 1, 1946, after its approval, passage and legal pub-
lication as provided by law.
