All work shall be performed in accordance with one or more of the following specifications. a. American Public Works - APWA Standard Specifications for Municipal Public Works Construction - 1981 Edition. b. Proof of said liability policy shall be provided to the Development Inspection Section, 155 Monroe Avenue N.E., Renton, WA 98055 (206-255-2531, or our new toll free number, 1-800-KCROADS) prior to setting up a preconstruc[fon meeting, provided, that in the case of facilities assumed by King County for maintenance pursuant to Section 20.50.110. said liability policy shall be terminated when said county maintenance responsibility commences. 7. King County Code 12.88 requires that construction noise only occur between 7 a.m, and 10 p.m. on weekdays and 9 a.m. and 10 p.m. on weekends. 8. All disturbed areas shall be seeded and mulched or otherwise stabilized to the satisfaction of the Department for the prev ention of on -site erosion after the completion of construction. It. This shall include necessary leveling of the trench bottom or the top of the foundation material as well as placement and compaction of required bedding material to uniform grade so that the entire length of the pipewill be supported on a uniformly dense unyielding base. If the native material in the bottom of the trench meets the requirements for "Gravel Backfill for Pipe Bedding" the firs[ lift of pipe bedding may be omitted provided the material in the bottom of the trench is loosened, regraded and compacted to form a dense unyielding base. 13. Construction of dewatering (groundwater) system shall be in accordance with APWA Standard Specification, Section 61-3.02. 14. Galvanized steel pipe utilized as detention facilities shall have asphalt treatment Al or better inside and outside. 15. Structures shall not be permitted within 10' of the spring line of any storm drainage pipe(s), or 15' from the top of any channel bank. 16. All drainage structures not on public rights -of -way shall have solid locking lids unless otherwide approved by the Department. 17. All catch basin grates shall be depressed 0.10 feet below pavement level. 18. Catch basin grates installed on County right-of-way shall conform to standard drawings 139 or C44 which includes the stamping "Out - fall to'Stream, Dump No Pollutants" and "Property of King County." 19. Plans showing all underground utilities must be Depart- ment's to the De p ment's Development Inspection Section. Plans for water and sanitary sewers must be provided prior to the pre -construction meeting.
