The original construction contract total was $16,032,772.44.The final contract total was$17,425,479.31, which is an increase of$1,392.706,87.The increase in cost is summarized in the attached list of change orders. Because this is a Federal Highway Administration (FHWA)funded project, retainage was not withheld because it is prohibited by FHWA regulations; therefore, there is no retainage to release.
