:vection 1: That every person engaged in hauling logs, spars
or poles Upon motor trucks or other xxhxzh±xz vehicles, upon, along or
over any of the )u blic hi hways within the City of Renton, shall secur-
ely

ely chain the loads so as to prevent the same from being spilled on or
along said highways.
Section 2: That for the nur�ose of this ordinance the -:pord
person shall include un individual, firm, co -partnership, ass3ciation
or corporation and the si -�gular shall include the plural.
Section 3: That any person -who shall violate the provisions
of Section 1 f this Ordinance shall upon conviction therefor in the
Rolice Court, be fined in any sum n.)t exceeding One Hundred 0100.00)
Dollars or be imprisoned in the City or County Jail for any term not
exceeding thirty (30) days or by both such fine and imprisonment.
Section This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect
five days from and a.f t e r its passage, approval and !,gal publication
as provided by law.
