CALL TO ORDER:
The November meeting was called to order at 8:00 a.m.by J. Phelan.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Motion made by G. Taylor, seconded by R. Anderson and carried to approve the minutes of the
October 28,2008,Regular Meeting. The motion carried.
CORRESPONDENCE:
A request was received from Active Member 04333 for reimbursement in the amount of$619.48
for replacement lenses as a result of a prescription change related to the detached retina and
subsequent surgery that he incurred. The Board directed the Board Secretary to communicate
with Active Member 04333 and advise that payment is approved; however, the Board would like
to see bids from at least two additional vendors before any further payment for lens changes
would be authorized. A motion was made by G. Taylor and seconded by R. Anderson to
approve payment of the lens change with the provision that at least two additional bids would be
obtained before payment of additional lens changes. The motion carried.
LTNFINISHED BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
Election results were counted for the Police Department election. Ric Anderson has been re-
elected for a two-year term ending December 31, 2010.
BILLS:
A request was received from Retiree 2055 for hearing aid repair in the amount of$250.00. A
motion was made by R. Anderson and seconded by G. Taylor to approved payment. The motion
carried.

APPROVAL OF BILLS:
Board Members reviewed the claims processed under the Secretary's authority during November,
2008.
COMMENTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS:
The meeting schedule for 2009: January 27, February 24,March 24,April 28,May 26, June 23,
July 28, August 25, September 22, October 27,November 24,December 15.
ADJOURNMENT:
There being no further business, G. Taylar moved and R. Anderson seconded the adjoiu-�unent of
the meeting at 8:30 a.m. The motion carried.
