A. . Request to accept changes to the Domesti�Violence Victim Advocate Job Classification.

$, Accept the request to change Entry Level�olice testing process. The primary change is to require applicants
obtain an 80%or better in the Oral Board process in order to be placed on the Eligibility List. Additionally,
with a current Eligibility List of 98 candidates,tliere will be no police officer oral boards until Fall 2007.
Future Oral Boards,will occur as Eligibility Lists are depleted.

A, Civil Service Examiner Recruitment Testing—Request was made to approve the attached Job Announcement.
Applicants will consist of City of Renton employees,within the Human Resources Department. The Civil
Service Chair,Civil Service Examiner,and Human Resources Administrator will sit on the Oral Board. Chair
Jim Phelan will later determine if the Police Chief and the Fire Chief will also participate. See attached
summaries of the current and proposed process.
