Pacific Car and Foundry Company, a eorpora.tion, herein-
after called the lessor and the City of Renton, a municipal
corporation, hereinafter called the leasee,
V I T N E S S E T H
upon the following terms and conditionsns ub ject to the follow.
Ing covenants»
1.
The lessee shall Occupy said premises and use the same
solely for purposes of a public park and touristst automobile
camp.

For and in consideration of the mutual covenants herein
contained and the payment of the rent hereinafter reserved,
the lessor does hereby lease and demise unto the lessee the
following described tract of land situated in King County,
Washington, to -wit:

Beginning at a monument in the center of
Section 17, Twp 23 N R 5 E; thence S. 0 301 35" W,
a distance of 346.45 feet to the north marginal
line of King County Commercial Waterway No. 2;
thence N. 66 131 V, along said. north marginal line
of canal a distance of..926.56 feet to the west
marginal line of the right of wag of the Columbia
and Puget Sound Railway; which point is the point
of bnginninS of the tract to be described; thence
continuing northwesterly along the north marginal
line of the canal 106.86 feet; thence northeasterly
along the east line of the tract of land owned by
the City of Renton a distance of 593.36 feet to the
north line of said tract; thence N 88 091 E. 109.56
feet to the west line of the right of way of the
Columbia and Puget Sound Railway; thence southwesterly
al obg said west line a distance of 636.78 feet to the
point of beginning.

The Jesse will pap for the rental of said property in
the sum of 01.40 per year in advance.
This lease shall be subject to termination at the option
of either party hereto upon giving a notice of sueh termination
ninety dsy s prior to the date thereof.
IV.
The lessee will keep said premises in a clean and sanitary
condition and free from 611 kinds of litter and debris.
Upon: the termination of this lease, the leasee will deliver
said promises to the lessor in the above described condition and
vAll remove any structures, buildings, and all other improvements
which may be constructed upon said promises by the lessee..
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the lessor has caused these presents
to be executed by its duly authorized officers and the seal
of said corporation to be affixed, and the lessee has caused
these presents to be executed by its mayor and city clerk, the
day and year first above written.
