QUITCLAIM EASEMENT DEED
The Grantor, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, Department of the Interior, acting
� by and through the Bonneville Power Administrator, pursuant to the Act of Congress

� June 30, 1949 (63 Stat. 377, 40 U.S.C. 471, et seq.) as amended, and delegations

of authority issued pursuant thereto, for and in consideration of the stun of �
THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($300.00) does hereby remise, release and quitclaim unto the
CITY OF RENTQN, its successors and assigns, an easement for a 12-inch water line
over and across the United States Department of the Interior, Bonneville Power ,
Administrationfs fee-owned Maple Valley Substa.tion Site, being more particularly '
described as follows:
A strip of land 20 feet in width over and across the United
States Bonneville �awer Administrationts Ma.ple Valley Substation
Site, bein� a part of the NE4SE4 of Section 20, and the NW�SW4
and the SW�VW4 of Section 21, Township 23 North, Ra.nge 5 Ea.st,
W. M., King Coiuity, Washington, the boundaries of said strip lying
10 feet fram, on each side of, and parallel with a line described
as follaws:
Beginning at a point in the westerly boundary of the United
States Bonneville Pawer Ad.ministrationts Maple Valley Substa.tion
Site, N. 45° 07t 50'� W. 7p.6 feet from the most westerly south
corner of said Site, said corner being S. 1° 50 f 30Tt W. 252.1 i
feet from the quarter section corner co�unon to Sections 20 and 21,
Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W. M. ; thence N. 42° OSt 30't E.
970.8 feet to a point in the easterly line of said Site, N. 34°
54f 30�T W. 10.3 feet from the most easterly corner of said Site.
Subject to the rights of Olqmpic 'Pipe Line Company to an �
easement for a 16--inch products pipe line and to the rights of
the �uget Sound "Pawer � Light Comgan� to a permit for a pawer line.
Reserving ianto the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and its assigns, the right to j
erect and maintain one or more electric transmission lines over the easement area, II�
but without any supporting structure or structures located in the easement area.
It is understood and agreed that the CITY QF RENTON shall be li.able for any
dama,ge to the propertp of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, including transmission lines
and structures, arising out of or resulting from acts of the City. of Rentorits ,emplopees
or agents acting within their authority in construction, reconstruction, or main tenance
of said water line upon the propertp of the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
Should the rights acquired by the CITY OF RENTON by this easement no longer be
used or neec�dfo� water line purposes, all rights granted by this easement shall
terminate and revert to and revest in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.
