RESOLUTION �597
ACCEPTING THE OFFER OF Tii:G UiVITED STATES
OF AMERICA.
WH��AS, there has been filed with the Federal Works
Agency for and in behalf of the City of Renton, (herein called
the "Owner") , an application for Federal assistance under the
Defense Public Works program, and the United States of America ,
acting by and through the Federal Vdorks Administrator, has
transmitted to the Owner an Offer oP Federal assitance in con-
nection with the public works referred to in said application
and described in said Offer; and
WHERE�S, said Offer has beQn duly read in open meeting and
has been fully considered in every respect in accordance w ith the
pertinent rules of procedure and le�al requirements; and
VJHI�EAS, said Offer has been made a part of the public
records of the Owner; and
Wh`ERFA,S, it is deemed advisable and in the public interest
that said Off er be accepted:
NOW,T�EFORE, be it resolved by the Council of the City of
Renton that the said �Offer of the United States of America, a true
�
and correct copy of which is hereby attached, be and the same here-
by is �ccepted�without reservation or qualification.
PASS'� by the City Council on the 5th day of January, 1943.
APPROVID on this 5th day of January, 1943 by the Mayor of
the City of Renton.
