John E . Harer, hereinafter refierred to as "owner" , hereby covenants and '�
agrees to sign the necessary petitions for annexation to the City Limits ofi $
the City ofi Renton , Washington , fior the property herein described and on the�
terms more fiully set forth below. �

1 . Leqal Description The property ta which this covenant shall a�ply

� 3. Parties Bound This agreement and the covenant to annex shall be

� binding on the awner anci alI persons subsequently acquiring any right, title
o� inte►�est in ar to said property referred to as the premises, and shali be
a covenant running with the iand .
4. Time fior Perfiormance The owners� their heirs, successors or
assigns, agree and covenant to sign a petition to annex the above-described
premises unto the City of Renton at such time as the assessed valuation of
the subject premises is suffiicient to qualifiy under the 75% method pursuant
to RCW �5A. 14. 12�, together with such other adjoining or contiguous area as
the City or other petitioners may determine. The owners further agree, when
so notified by the City, to promptly ci�culate and e�:ecute sucl� petition and
ta ca�npiy with all the requirem�nts of Iaw rega►�ding such annexation . If
the owners, their successors or assigns fail to do so, the City reserves the
right to terminate the use ofi the Renton Municipal Airpart property for
emergency fiire #ighting equipment access.
5. Filiinq These covenants shall be fiiled with the I�ing County
fluditor.
6. Ifi owner does not build the Senior Apartment House Complex which
�r�equires the easement to enter the property owned by the City of Renton
refierred to in paragrapS� 2 above, then this agr-eement becomes nuil and void .
