Transportation Division has an active project to construct several sidewalk segments and construct
wheelchair ramps at intersections. This project has been approved by the City CounciL j

These new sidewalk segments will be constructed entirely within existing right of way. �;

We discovered that.existing sidewalks encroach on private property at a few locations where the ij
wheelchair ramps will be replacing existing sidewalks. In order to correct the record we made an �'
offer to the property owners to pay a nominal sum as compensation for curing the encroachment in ;;
return for a dedication rounding the property corner to City Standards. �

Since this project Yias been approved by the City Council, we feel that the dedications are not �,� i�
required to be accepted by the City Council in the usual manner. We request that the Mayor sign � �'
acceptance of these;dedications and the documents be recorded. �

Please let me know if either you or the Mayor would prefer to request Council concurrence �
, accepting these dedication deeds. In that case we will prepare an Agenda Bill. (J
