1. Purpose. Grantee shall have the right to construct, operate, maintain, repair, replace and enlarge one or more
elcctric transmission andJor distribution lines over and/or under the Right-of-Way together with all necessary or
convenient appurtenances thereto, which may include but are n�t limited to the follo�ving:
a. Overhead facilities. Poles and/�r towers with crossarms, braces,guys and anchors;electric transmission and
distribution lincs; communication and signal lines; transformcrs.
b. Underground facilities. Underground conduits, cables, vaults, manholes, switches and transformers; semi-
buricd or gr�und mounted facilities such as pads, transformers and switches.
Fc�lloN�in�the initial construction of its facilities,Grantee may from time to time construct such additional lines and
othcr facilitics a` it ma�� rcyuirc.
2. Access.G�antec shall have the right of access to the Right-of-Way over and across the Property to enable Grantee
tc�cxcrcisc its rights hcrrunder,provided,that Grantec shall compensate Grantor for any damage to the Property caused
h�' tl�c r:<crti.,r of ti.�id right i�f acccss.
:+. t'eftin�i�f Trees.Grantce shall have the right to cut�r trim any and all brush or trecs standing or growing upon
' thc ki�ht-��f-�Vay, and also the right to cut or trim any trees upon the Yroperty which, in falling, could, in Grantee's
rcasunablr judgment, bc a hazard to Grantee's facilities.
4. Crantor's Llse of Ri�ht-of-Way. Cr,�ntor reserves thr right to utie the Right-of-Way for any purpose not
incc�nsistent with the rights herein grantecl. provided,that Grantor shall not construct or maintain any building or other
structure on the Right-of-Way and Grantor shall do no blasting H�ithin 300 feet of Grantee's facilities without Grantee's
prior N�rittcn consent.
5. Indemnity. By acccpting and recording this easement,Grantec agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Grantor
frc�m any and all claim� for injurics and!or damagrti suffercd by any person which may be caused by the Grantee's
excrcise of the ri�hts herein >ranted; rovided that Gran
� b p , tce shall not be respons�ble to Grantor for any injuries and/or
damagcs to any person caused by acts or omissions of Grantor.

6. Abandonment.The rights hercin granted shall continue until such time as Grantee ceases to use the Right-of-Way �
f<�r a period c�f fivr(5)tiuccessive years,in which evcnt thi�ea�ement shall terminate and all rights hereunder shall revert to
Grantor, pre�vided, that no aband��nment shall he deemed tu havc occurred by reason c>f Grantee's failure to initially I,
inst�ill its facilitics on the Right-of-Way within any period of time from the datc hereof. i
