�.. WHEREAS Drainage District No. One of King County, Washington, a municipal
� corporation, hereinafter called Grantor, heretofore granted an easement to the City of
� Renton, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called Grantee, which easement was
recorded under King County, Washington Recorder's Number 8007070465 (hereinafter
referred to as the "easement"); and
WHEREAS a particular provision of said easement reads as follows:
"1. Grantor grants to Grantee an easement for the construction, maintenance
and operation of a public street over and across the following described real
property in King County, situated in the NE '/4 of Section 25, Township 23
North, Range 4 East, W.M., and NW '/4 of Section 30, Township 23 North,
Range 5 East, W.M.; a strip of land across the 40 foot right-of-way of
Springbrook Creek, said strip being 40 feet wide and lying 20 feet either side of
the north-south common section line between Section 30, T 23 N, R 5 E, and
Section 25, T 23 N, R 4 E, W.M., and the northerly and southerly boundaries of
said easement being the northerly and southerly margins, respectively of SW
27th Street right-of-way as extended said right-of-way being 90 feet in width as
platted in the plat of Burlington Northern Industrial Park of Renton, Division No.
2 as recorded in Volume 111 of Plats, pages 42-44, records of King County,
Washington.
"Grantee will install, and from time to time and all times hereafter, will repair,

easement for the purpose of allowing and maintaining the flow of drainage
water."; and
WHEREAS the parties are desirous of amending that portion of the easement
which is quoted above;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and
valuable consideration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, Grantor does hereby
amend the foregoing provision of said easement to read as follows:
"1. Grantor grants to Grantee an easement for the construction, maintenance and
operation of a public street over and across the following described real property in
King County, Washington, situated in the NE '/4 of Section 25, Township 23 North,
Range 4 East, W.M., and the NW '/4 of Section 30, Township 23 North, Range 5

East, W.M., as follows: a strip of land across the 40 foot right-of-way of
Springbrook Creek, said Springbrook Creek right-of-way being 40 feet wide and
lying 20 feet either side of the north-south common section line between Section
30, T 23 N, R 5 E, and Section 25, T 23 N, R 4 E, W.M.; the northerly boundary of
said strip of land being seventy feet (70') north of, and parallel to, the centerline of
the SW 27'h Street right-of-way as platted in the plat of Burlington Northern
Industrial Park of Renton, Division No. 2 as recorded in Volume 111 of Plats,
pages 42-44, records of King County, Washington; and the southerly boundary of
said strip of land being seventy feet (70') south of, and parallel to, the centerline of
the SW 27`h Street right-of-way as platted in said plat; the dimensions of said
easement being approximately forty feet (40') by one hundred and forty feet (140').
"Grantee will install, and from time to time and all times hereafter, will repair,
maintain and clean a three-sided box culvert within said easement for the purpose
of allowing and maintaining the flow of storm water drainage."
All modifications contained herein shall take effect immediately, and Grantee's exercise of
any of the rights contained herein shall be deemed an acceptance of the terms, provisions
and conditions of said easement and this amendment. 'I
Except as modified herein, all remaining terms and provisions of the easement shall
remain in full force and effect. !
