ORDINANCE NO. 3109
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON,
ANNEXING CERTAIN TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF RENTON.
WHEREAS under the provisions of RCW 35A.14 . 300 , the
legislative body, by majority vote, elected to annexcertain territory
outside its City limits as hereinbelow more particularly described,

for municipal purposes; and

C► WHEREAS the City Council fixed October 8 , 1976 , as per
cits Resolution No . 2068 , as a time and place for a public hearing in
r- the City Council Chambers , City Hall, Renton, Washington, and
WHEREAS pursuant to said Notice, a public hearing has been
held at the time and place specified in the aforesaid notice and the
Council having duly considered all matters in said Resolution and
further determined that all legal requirements and procedures of the
law applicable have been duly complied with, and
WHEREAS a proper "Notice of Intention" having been
filed with the King County Boundary Rev_w Board as required by law,
and said Boundary Review Board having duly waived its jurisdiction
thereover as per its letbr dated January 27 , 1977 ,
NOW THEREFORE , THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON,
WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS :
SECTION I : The aforesaid findings , recitals aid determinations
are hereby found to be true and correct in all respects; all requirements
of the law in regard to the annexation as per RCW 35A.14 . 300 have been
fully complied with.
It is further determined that the below described property
is being annexed into the City of Renton for municipal purposes and
such annexation to be effective on and after the approval, passage
and publication of this Ordiance; and on and after said date said
property shall be and constitute a part of the City of Renton and
shall be subject to all its laws and ordinances then and thereafter
in force and effect; said property being described as follows :

See Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof
as if fully set forth herein.
(Said property lying easterly of 96th Avenue S, westerly
of l0+th Ave. S .E. , southerly of South 192nd Street)
SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be effective upon its

passage, approval and five dates after its publication.
A certified opy of this Ordinance shall be filed with
Nthe King County Council, State of Washington, and as otherwise provic1
by law.

Legal Description
All that portion of Section 5, Twp. 22 N. , Rng. 5 E. , W.M. and a portion of
Springbrook Acre Tracts as recorded in Volume 12 of plats, page 60, records of
King County, Washington within Section 6, Twp. 22 N. , Rng. 5 E. , W.M. described
as follows:
in BEGINNING at.a point which lies N 0°12'30" W a distance of 241.5 feet from the
CO S.W. corner of the southwest 1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of Section 5, Twp. 22 N. ,
CI: Rng. 5 E. , W.M. ; thence N 40° 41' E a distance of 230.3 feet; thence S
CO; 84°12' E a distance of 245.9 feet; thence S 34°26' E a distance of 147.3
feet; thence S 14°49' E a distance of 275 feet to a line 30 feet north of
at right angle, and parallel with the south line of the southwest 1/4
rof the southwest 1/4 of the northwest 1/4 of Section 5; thence easterly along
said parallel line to the east line of said southwest 1/4 of the southwest 1/4
