(RGI) has reviewed the referenced project plans. The site grading will require up to six feet offiIIand less than five feet of cut. The building foundations will besupported on spread footing foundations. It is consistent with the recommendation in the referenced geotechnical report. RGI noticed that a pervious concrete pavement is proposed as an alternative bid in the parking. The native soil is dense glacial till that doesn't support infiltration. RGI recommends that pervious concrete alternative bid be removed from the plan. The design to be submitted to City of Renton have been reviewed and conform to the recommendations of the analysis, report and follow-up design memos, and provided that the conditions and recommendations are satisfied, the construction and development will not increase the potential for sail movement ar settlement. The risk of damage to the proposed development and from the development to adjacent properties from soil instability will be minimal. RGI would be available to provide geotechnical inspection services during the construction of the project per City of Renton's requirements.
