AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RENTON, WASHINGTON, VACATING A PORTION OF
SOUTH 128th STREET LYING BETWEEN 91st AVENUE SOUTH AND RAINIER AVRIUE
SOUTH, ALL SITUATED IN RENTON, KING COUNTY, WASHINGTON.

WHEREAS a proper Petition for vacating a certain portion of roadways herein-

..Q >o`.cmber 17, 1967, and said Petition has been signed by the owners of more than two-
Thirds of the property abutting upon such portion of roadways sought to be vacated,
rnd whereas the City Council by Resolution No. 1509 passed and approved on December
4, 1967, and after due investigation did fix and determine the 8th day of January, 1968,
at the hour of 8:00 P.M. in the City Council Chambers of the City of Renton to be the
time and place for public hearing thereon; and directed the Clerk to give notice of such
hearing in the manner provided by law and such notice has been duly given and published
' .01 persons having been heard appearing in favor of or in opposition thereto; and
c:'r:.ereas the Planning Commission having duly considered said Petition and said vacation
^:, hereinafter more particularly described being found to be in the public interest ?r
the public benefit and no injury or damage to any person or properties will result

WHEREAS the City Council caused to have made an appraisal of the properties
c:,ght to be vacated as provided for in City of Renton Ordinance No. 2349 and the City
x-.^:-:.ng likewise elected to retain an easement for public utility purposes, NOW THEREFORE
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE LAYOR AND THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RENTON AS

margin of 91st Avenue South and the westerly margin of Rainier
Avenue:
Subject to utility easements, 10 feet, in Width,,,. e, s t South

DE AND THE SAIF IS HEREBY VACATED, subject to payment unto the City by the abutting owners
thereof of the total sum of$ 6,250.00 , which sum does not exceed one-half of the
appraised value of the area so vacated

SECTION II: This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, approval and legal publication as provided by law. A certified copy of this
' Ordinance shall be filed with the King County Auditor's office.
