GOAL: to place artificial turf around our back patio
STEPS:
1. Remove existing ornamental shrubs and the 6’ circle of pavers in area of
renovation
2. 35’ from the bulkhead and in line with the bulkhead, install a 16” cement
retaining wall above the existing grade to achieve a level area for the
artificial turf
3. Add 20” in height on the retaining wall for seating
(total retaining wall 36” high)
4. Install a 4’ by 4’ cement planter by the top step of walkway and patio
5. Install a concrete edge around the 3 other sides of the artificial turf (2’ from
the neighbor’s property line) and the hedge
6. Install @ 240 sq ft artificial turf
Materials:
1. Artificial turf
2. Cement matching the bulkhead, steps down to the dock and neighbor’s
retaining wall
Contractors:
1. For removal of pavers adjacent to patio, moving current ornamental plants
to other locations, leveling of yard and installation of artificial turf: Uyeta
