We had previously advised you that the City of Renton
acquired as per Deed December 31, 1969 from J. H.
Baxter Co. certain lands for parks and playground;

said properties then became tax exempt as being under
the ownership of the City of Renton.
The attorney for the Grantor has forwarded us today
the enclosed personal property and real estate tax

Res Baxter property
Dear Jerry:
With reference to your letter addressed to Mr. James C.
Hanken, attorney, I am transmitting two checks payable
to the J.H. Baxter Company for the purchase of the Bax•
ter property. The monies are from two funds, consequently
two checks. One is in the amount of $8,894.15 and the
other is for $373,605.85, making a total of $382,500.
Also transmitted is a check in the amount of $7,500.
payable to the City of Renton and the J.H. Baxter Company,
which is to be held in the suspense account until the rail-
road access and easement has been determined. ['his check
has been properly endorsed.
I can't think of anything else to be done prior to closing
other than the attempt to get an easement for access over
the tracks. I have initiated action on this point again
with the Renton Traffic Engineer and will send you a copy
of my communication.
Sincerely,
Gene L. Coulon
