THIS INDENTURE WITNESSETH: That we, Albert S. Balch and Edith A. Balch.

his wife , of King County, State of Washington, for and
in consideration of the sum of One (l.00) Dollar to us in hand paid and in further
consideration of the general public welfare and the special benefits accuring to us
therefrom, do, by these presents grant, convey and quit-claim to the City of Renton,
a municipal corporation of the State of Washington, for street, alley and any other
public uses and purposes, the following lots, pieces and parcels of land lying and
being in said King County, State of Washington, and described as follows:
3rd AVENUE NORTH ExTENSION
Two strips of land,one being fifty five (55) ft. in width lying adjacent
to and parallel with the northerly line of that certain fifty (50) ft.
power line right-of-way being known as the Snoqualmie Falls Power Company
right-of-way; and the other strip of land being twenty five (25) ft. in
width lying adjacent to and parallel with the southerly line of said Power
Line right-of-way lying within that portion of the north one-half of the
northeast one-quarter of Section 17, Township 23.North, Range 5 East, W.M.,
lying westerly of that certain two hundred (200) ft. Puget Sound Power
and Light Company right-of-way also two strips of land, each being twenty
five (25) ft. in width one lying adjacent to and parallel with the northerly
line of that certain fifty (50) ft. right-of-way being known as the
Snoqualmie Falls Power Company right-of-way, and the other strip of land lying
adjacent to and parallel with the southerly line of said fifty (50) ft. Power
Line right-of-way lying within the northeast one-quarter of the northeast one-
quarter of Section 17, Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M., easterly of that
certain two hundred (200) ft. Puget sound Power Light Company right-of-way:
and also said strips of land lying within the northwest one-quarter of the
northwest_ one-quarter Section--i6-,--ass Ta►at,
lying westerly of a line bearing S 1008'26" west from a point on the north
line of the northwest one-quarter of the northwest one-quarter of said
Section 16, said point being 315.66 ft. westerly of the northeast corner of
said northwest one-quarter of the northwest one-quarter of said Section 16,
less that portion conveyed to State of Washington under King County Auditors
file No. 3235173, records of King County, Washington.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said described premises unto the said City of Renton,
its successor or successors for the use of the public forever.
