Re: Acquisition of Park Property by City of Denton
Dear Mr. Leitch:
We hereby make reference to our previous correspondence and delivery
of Deeds from your company to the City of Renton which instruments
are dated December 6, 1961 .
We have been advised by our City Engineer today that upon his checking
the legal description, it appears that there is a "gap" of 12 feet
between the land heretofore conveyed and adjoining property. Apparently
, this was due to an error in describing a parcel to the north so that
this 12 reit strip was left out by inadvertenee. In order to acquire
title to this area, we are enclosing herewith the original and one
copy of a Quit Claim Deed to said strip with the request that you have
the proper officials execute same and return to us in the enclosed
self-addressed envelope.
