GENERAL NOTES
1. HORIZONTAL DATUM: WASHINGTON STATE COORDINATE SYSTEM, NORTH
ZONE, NORTH AMERICA DATUM 1983(91). VERTICAL DATUM: NATIONAL
GEODETIC VERTICAL DATUM 1929 (NGVD29). VERTICAL DATUM CONVERSION:
NGVD29 TO THE NORTH AMERICAN VERTICAL DATUM 1988 (NAVD88) _
NGVD29 + 3.60 FEET.
2. THERE SHALL BE NO EXPOSED GALVANIZED MATERIALS, COATINGS OR ZINC
APPLIED SURFACE TREATMENTS ON ANY EXTERIOR OR UNDERGROUND
MATERIALS OR SURFACES. ALL GALVANIZED OR ZINC APPLIED MATERIALS
OR COATINGS SHALL BE PERMANENTLY PAINTED OR COATED TO PREVENT
EXPOSURE OF THE GALVANIZED/ZINC MATERIALS PRIOR TO INSTALLATION
OR COMPLETION OF CONSTRUCTION.
3. THE MUDLINE ELEVATIONS SHOWN BELOW PILE SUPPORTED STRUCTURES IN
THESE PLANS ARE ASSUMED. TOP OF PILE/BOTTOM OF SUBGRADE SHALL
BE ELEVATION 13.0 OR 2 FEET BELOW THE FIELD VERIFIED MUDLINE,
WHICHEVER IS DEEPER.
4. SUBGRADE IMPROVEMENTS SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED PER DETAIL 2 ON
SHEET C500-2S.
5. IN -WATER FILL SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED PER DETAIL 3 ON SHEET
C500-2S.
6. SEE STRUCTURAL PLANS FOR STAGED DEMOLITION OF PILE SUPPORTED
STRUCTURES, TEMPORARY SHEET PILE CONTAINMENT WALL, AND PERMANENT
