2. INSTALL THE VALCOM MODEL 179-LP6 LOW PROFILE POSITION INDICATOR PER THE
MANUFACTURER'S RECOMMENDATIONS. THE TOP OF THE 2-INCH AWWA NUT SHOULD BE
APPROXIMATELY 3-INCHES BELOW THE FINISHED GROUND ELEVATION. THE VALVE POSITION
INDICATION SHALL BE LOCATED FACING THE ADJACENT BUILDING, OR ORIENTED AWAY FROM
WHERE THE VALVE WILL MOST LIKELY BE OPERATED TO ALLOW THE OPERATOR TO READ THE
VALVE POSITION EASILY.
3. PLACE THE REBAR, NEENAH MODEL R-5900-B FRAME AND LID, AND CONCRETE AS SHOWN TO
THE FINISHED ELEVATION.
4. PAINT WHITE BOX AROUND THE VALVE (AS SHOWN). PAINT "FIRE" AND "SEC ###" ON TWO
SEPARATE LINES IN RED BLOCK LETTERING WITHIN THE WHITE PAINT BOX BENEATH THE VALVE
AS SHOWN. ### SHALL REFER TO THE ACTUAL VALVE NUMBER IN THE FIELD.
