SUBJECT: RENTON HIGHLANDS MEADOWS ANNEXATION – EFFECTIVE NOVEMBER 10, 2019
Due to the recent annexation that encompassed your property, the City of Renton Municipal Code does
allow and require the City to change the addresses and street names to conform to the City of Renton
addressing grid. In the review of the addresses included in this annexation, we have determined that
the addresses will not change at this time. This is due in part to the fact that there are neighboring
properties that would need to continue to use the street names of 156th Ave SE and SE 132nd St and we
wish to avoid confusion in house numbers and street names with the mix of Renton and King County.
When all of the properties along SE 132nd St and/or 156th Ave SE are annexed into the City of Renton, we
reserve the right to change all of the addresses along those streets at that time. Communication and
notification will be provided by the City prior to that occurring.
We have notified the local Postal Authority and the utility companies, as well as King County assessor,
Emergency Services, Fire Services and the local School Districts of the annexation and also to
communicate that we are not changing the addresses at this time.
If you have further questions, please contact me at (425) 430‐7369.
Welcome to the City of Renton!

notification will be provided by the City prior to that occurring.
We have notified the local Postal Authority and the utility companies, as well as King County assessor,
Emergency Services, Fire Services and the local School Districts of the annexation and also to
