Utilities Committee Chair Pérez presented a report concurring
in the staff recommendation, including revisions requested by
the Committee, to enter into a franchise agreement with Seattle
SMSA Limited Partnership d/b/a Verizon Wireless for the
provision of a telecommunications network for small cell
technology within the City of Renton. The Committee further
recommended the ordinance regarding this matter be
presented for first reading and subsequent adoption.

in the staff recommendation to authorize the Mayor and City
Clerk to execute the Water Quality Stormwater Capacity Grant
Agreement No. WQSWCAP-1921-Renton-00019 with the
Department of Ecology for up to $50,000 in non-matching funds
to assist the city in complying with the requirements of the
Western Washington Phase II Municipal Stormwater Permit.

Planning & Development Committee Vice-Chair Pérez

prepared and presented for first reading when it is complete.
