ADJOURNMENT ,Nive New MINUTES FIREMEN'S PENSION BOARD CITY OF RENTON April 19, 2007 Kathy Keolker,Mayor Don Persson, Council Finance Committee Chair Bonnie Walton, City Clerk Ray Barilleaux, Fire Department Representative Bruce Phillips, Fire Department Representative William Larson, Fire Department Alternate The regular meeting of the Firemen's Pension Board was called to order by Chairman Kathy Keolker at 1:30 p.m. in the Mayor's conference room, 7th floor of Renton City Hall. In attendance were Board members Kathy Keolker, Don Persson, Bruce Phillips, Ray Barilleaux and Bonnie Walton. Also in attendance was Finance Department representative, Jill Masunaga. MINUTES APPROVAL MOVED BY PHILLIPS, SECONDED BY BARILLEAU, THE PENSION BOARD APPROVE THE MINUTES OF THE MARCH 15, 2007, MEETING. CARRIED. CORRESPONDENCE A letter was sent to the Office of the State Treasurer by the Board secretary verifying for purposes of the 2007 Fire Insurance Premium Distribution that there were 106 paid firemen employed in the City of Renton Fire Department as of December 31, 2007. Also, an email was reviewed indicating the Finance and Information Services Administrator Michael Bailey plans to attend the next Board meeting on May 17th to review the recently received Actuarial Valuation report of January 1, 2007. MONTHLY STATEMENT The financial report as of March 31, 2007, was reviewed. Total cash/investment balance was $4,551,170.45. MONTHLY BILLS AND PENSION PAYMENTS Finance Representative Masunaga pointed out that a 3.73%LEOFF cost of living increase effective April 1st is reflected in this month's report. MOVED BY BARILLEAUX, SECONDED BY PHILLIPS, THE BOARD APPROVE THE PENSION/MEDICAL PAYMENTS FOR APRIL 2007, IN THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF $35,196.80 TO BE PAID FROM THE FIREMEN'S PENSION FUND. CARRIED.
