AGREEMENT TO RECONSTRUCT DRIVEWAY �
THIS AGREEMENT made this �� day of � ZQO ,�89�,by
and between THE CITY OF RENTON, a charter-code city o the State of Washington, hereinafter
called the Grantors, and HING COLTNTY, a political subdivision of the State of Washington,
hereinafter called the Grantee.
WITNESSETH:
WI-�REAS,the Grantor represents and warrants to be the owner of that certain parcel of land
described as follows:
Parcel A:
That portion of the north 530.00 feet of the northeast quarter of the northwest quarter of Section
3, Township 23 North, Range 5 East, W.M., in King County, Washington, lying north and east of
Newcastle Road No. 3-23-5-6 as established December 17, 1962 by King County

WHEREAS, the Grantee is about to perform certain improvement work on: Coal Creek Parkway
SE.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises, the Grantor hereby grants to the Grantee by
this agreement, the right to locate equipment and to work on the following described land for the
purposes of carrying on said construction activities consistent with the purposes for reconstructing
the driveway:
That portion of the hereinabove described Parcel A as follows:
Beginning at Engineer's Station 216+49.40 on construction centerline"A"line of Coal Creek
Parkway SE as established by King County Road Survey No. 3-23-5-16;thence perpendicular to
the said centerline of said Coal Creek Parkway SE to Engineer's Station 216.49.40 right, 41.30 feet,
said point being the northwest corner of said property; thence east along the north property line a
distance of 64.9 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNLNG;
Thence east along the north property line a distance of 18.42 feet to the beginning of a non tangent
curve to the right having a radius of 40.00 feet and whose center bears north 64° 14'27"east with a
central angle of 64° 56'28";
Thence southeast along a curve a distance of 45.3 feet;
Thence north 89° 17'S9"east a distance of 80.12 feet;
Thence south 00°42'O1"east a distance of 18.OQ feet;
Thence south 89° 1T59"west a distance of 72.13 feet to the begiiuiuig of a tangent curve to the left

CAG: 08-144, SW 27th St/ Transportation Systems Division recommended approval of Supplemental •
� Strander Blvd Extension, Agreement No. 1 to CAG-08-144, with Perteet, Inc., in the amount of
Perteet $1,870,021 for additional design and construction management services for the
SW 27th St./Stander Blvd. Extension project. Council concur.
Transportation: Logan Ave N Transportation Systems Division recommended approval of a contract in the
Bike Lane, WHPacific amount of$20,031 with WHPacific for construcrion support services for the
Logan Ave. N. Bike Lane project. Council concur.
Transportation: Coal Creek Transportation Systems Division requested approval of a deed of dedication, an
Parkway SE Widening & May Easement for Sight Distance, and an Agreement to Reconstruct Driveway
Creek Park Construction (ARD) with King County, required for widening of Coal Creek Parkway SE and
Agreements, King County ; in order to construct the new access to May Creek Park. Council concur.

Finance: Vouchers Claim Vouchers 277083 - 277646 and three wire transfers totaling
$7,979,341.49; and approval of 149 Payroll Vouchers, one wire transfer, and
772 direct deposits totaling $2,607,994.53. MOVED BY PERSSON,
SECONDED BY ZWICKER, COUNCIL CONCUR IN THE COMMITTEE
REPORT. CARRIED.
Finance: Financial Finance Committee Chair Persson presented a report recommending approval of
Management Policies the proposed Financial Management Policies and directing the Finance
Department to include the policies in the Mayor's proposed 2009 Preliminary
Budget document that will be presented to Council in October 2008. MOVED
BY PERSSON, SECONDED BY ZWICKER, COUNCIL CONCUR IN THE
COMMITTEE REPORT. CARRIED.
Finance: Gambling Tax Finance Committee Chair Persson presented a report recommending
Revenue Amendments concurrence in the staff recommendation to modify gambling tax reporting
frequency from quarterly to monthly for those establishments whose annual tax
due is over$10,000,based on previous year's activity. The Committee further
recommended that the ordinance regarding this matter be presented for first
reading. MOVED BY PERSSON, SECONDED BY ZWICKER, COLTNCIL
CONCUR IN THE COMMITTEE REPORT. CARRIED. (See page 334 for
ordinance.)
Plannin� & Development Planning and Development Committee Chair Parker presented a clean-up report
Committee recommending the following referrals be closed:
Council: Planning &
Development Committee 1. Item#2234, "North Harrington Redevelopment Strategies and Outreach and
Agenda Item Clean-up Report Utilization of the Highlands Task Force." The Council concurred with a
committee report appointing members to the Highlands Task Force, Phase
II on July 23, 2007. The Task Force is completing its work program and
will present a report and recommendations to the Coinmittee of the Whole
in December.
