City of Renton shall ha�e the righ# to ingress and egress o�er those portions o#the Property necessary to perform ins�ections af the storrr�water faci[i#ies and BMPs and conduct maintenance activities specified in this Declaration of Covenant anc[ in accordance with the Renton Municipal Code. City of Renton shall provide at least thirty (30) days' written notice to the Owners that entry on the Property is planned for the inspection of drainage faeilities.After the thirty (30) days,the Owners shall allow the City of Renton to enter for the sole purpose of inspecting drainage facilities. In lieu of insPection by the City, the Owners may elect to engage a ]icensed civi! engineer registered in the 5tate of Washington who has expertise in drainage to inspect the drainage facilities and provide a written report deseribing their condition. If the engineer aption is chosen,the Owners shalf pro�ide written notice to the City af Renton within fifteen (15)days of recei�ing the Cifiy's notice of inspection.Within thirty(30) days of giving this notice,the Owners, or engineer on behalf ofi the Owners,shall pro�ide the engineer's repart to the City of Renton. If the report is not provided in a timely manner as specified abo�e,th�CiCy af Renton may inspect the drainage facilities withaut further notice. 3. If City of Rentan determines from its inspection, or fram an engineer's report pravided in accvrdance with Paragraph 2,that maintenance, repair, restaration, and/or mitigation wark is required to be done to any af the drainage faeilities, City of Renton shall notify the Owners of the specific maintenance, repair, restoration, and/ar mitigation work ("Wark") required pursuant to the Renton MuniciPal Code. The City shali also set a reasonal�le deadline for the Owners to complete fihe Work, or to provide an engineer's report that verifies completion of the Work. After the deadline has passed, the Owners shall allow the City access to re-inspect the drainage facilities unless an engin��r's repark has been pra�ided verifying campEetian of the WarK. If the Work is not campleted within the time firame set by the City, the City may initiate an enforcement action and/or perfarm the Work and hereby is gi�en access to the Property for such purpos�s. Written notice wilf be sent ta the Owners stating the City's intention to perfarm such Work.This Work will not commence until at feast seven�7)days after such notice is mailed. !f, within the sole discretion af the C.ity, there exists an imminent ar pres�nt danger, the s�ven {7) day natice periad will be wai�ed and Work will begin immediately. 4. The 4wners shall assurr�e a[I respansibility for the cost ofi any Work, or any measures talcen �y the Ci#y to address eonditions as described in Paragraph 3. Such responsibility shall include , reimbursem�nt to the City within thirty�30)days of the receipt of the in�oice for any such Work performed.
