PROJECT MEETING NOTICE
VEK on Aberdeen
On June 27, 2019 a public meeting will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Renton
Highlands Library, located at 2801 NE 10th St, Renton, WA 98056, to describe and discuss the following project: VEK on Aberdeen proposes to develop one parcel into 12 (3-story) townhome units, with private
garages, surface parking, and residential amenities. The existing house on the property will be
demolished. The project is located at 957 Aberdeen Ave NE (TPN 311990-0066) on the west
side of Aberdeen Avenue NE, north of the intersection of Aberdeen Avenue NE and Sunset Blvd
NE. The project site totals 1.24 acres in area and is zoned Residential Multi Family (RMF).
Proposed access to the residences will be from Aberdeen Avenue NE. The proposal is consistent
with the surrounding properties.
A conceptual site/plat layout showing buildings, road layout, and open space area will be
available for viewing at the meeting.
The intent of this meeting is to facilitate an informal discussion between the project developer
and the neighbors regarding the project. While required by the City of Renton, this meeting is not
conducted by the City of Renton and is in addition to any future public hearing or public
comment opportunities available under City of Renton development review processes.
