This project fuels a hedge fund for non-US citizens, its engineering is overkill, and its publicity is fear based, PSE applies a spectrum of pressure, I cannot give my address. Quickly and badly stated; you are a key to this whole thing, you have tremendous pressure, much of it analytical, requiring argumentation and objectivity. Also psychological. The abstract and the personal will be the key to correcting PSE. Moderating my tone, I can watch your back and help drive your analytics. Renton, WA. Re: Please Stop the Energize Eastside Project. I know there is a lot of pressure on the cities involved and on people like you. Please stand up to PSE! There are thousands of us backing you. The data and arguments clearly negate PSE’s bad engineering and awful fear mongering and security demanding screaming. People associated with this project are traitors to a community at large ready to spark. This project is making a money market fund rich. The propaganda of PSE and its corporate power is intimating, but here a stand must be made on behalf of engineering and ecological considerations first. I will not even mention the safety concerns, which PSE pushes as fear about losing power while losing the future. This grid is surrounded and powered by many grids and its stupid to make this section a superpower in the name of false security and under table money. Everyone can see this project is jaded and untrue. Unnecessary and brutal. Big business cutting our trees putting in a line and then making us pay for it. What a rip off. I have fought this from day one. The logic is off. Around the world people are taking back their energy and power companies and we get scorched earth. PSE is fostering bad karma with this project allowing the environment to be traumatized and our wallets empty for foreign investors. Their propaganda and ideology of old school ideas of progress are leading to regression and bad air. Putting in big power lines is absurd engineering. I feel embarrassed for PSE. What an unsophisticated company. Destroying our trees, our city by the park, is pathetic. There are 250-year-old big canopy trees there supplying us life we still can’t calculate. Some minute in time it’s gone and empire down! The quickening. The project’s ‘positivism’ and PSE ugly style 1960 propaganda, is killing their children’s future. It’s going to look like a Godzilla movie set, day one. Sustainability does not cut trees. Knowledge = power is death. But first, there will be the sound of chainsaws cutting our filters for local clean air, birds, tiny ecosystems interconnected through trees is destroyed and a swamp and towers to the Aussies drapes dystopia. What a misconception! Like burning witches. But, for sure, in a few years, nature is dying faster than we think, people associated with this project will be under serious scrutiny. More than that! They will rot from the inside out. Anyone backing this project should feel shame, now. Greed drives this project to nowhere. Greed couched in fear that we will lose power when the whole grind is under massive tension and danger is insulting. PSE is using 1960 energy solutions. Their line of reasoning is flawed and defies the computation of secular modernity with corruption. Unreason. Please! We need to use our current understanding of energy not some dinosaur money making scheme. Blatant and surreal, takes your breath away. We need the cities of the eastside to stand against this bad engineering and naïve security that damages our local ecosystem and does the reverse. Willian James, the American father of psychology, said he came through Washington State by train in 1900, and the whole thing was on fire and being cut down. We’re going nowhere fast. Thanks PSE for your false security and billion dollar price tag. PSE’s logic dooms human future, creating polarities and zombies. Please government save us from corporations. The state of our delicate nature is in a crisis, capitalism needs to be educated and led to a better way. Government must control capitalism now while humanity still has a chance. Hegel said we humans endure a life no gods can endure. Stop trivializing human existence with forced gluttony of materialism. This whole thing is a regression of consciousness, with insects dying at an alarming rate, we bask in primitive ways. We are sinking in U-boat earth. Scorched earth. Our very success is killing us. The fire season is upon us. I agree, we should build and use energy like there’s no tomorrow. But tell that to your children. PSE is not evil, this project is. We need time and slower development.
