HomeMy WebLinkAboutAppeal LUA19-000136 - Donnelly CITY OF RENTON WVNs/ January 19,2020 JAM 2 12020 a 1 RECEIVED CITY CLERK'S OFFICE To: Renton Hearing Examiner Date: January 21,2020 Re: Appeal of DNS decision for the Dalpay Short Plat, LUA19-000136, ECF, MOD, SHPL-A Dear Renton Hearing Examiner: This is to notify you of my intention of appealing the decision that there are no significant environmental concerns on the above listed proposed development. I am attaching the required $500 filing fee. The major concern is that the city does not protect downstream resident's property; they do not do erosion control. There is a state law that says an upstream property owner cannot harm property of a downstream resident. I live about 1 mile downstream of the proposed project and I believe that Renton officials did not take our problems seriously. In addition, it seems that everything about this proposed plat has been rushed —there are no "recommendations at the end of the document I got—the developer has to "comply with the Dept of Ecology's Erosion and Sedimentation Control Manual". Thank you.
