Meeting Minutes

In attendance:
The pre-application meeting covers the City of Renton’s review of the Boeing Apron D
Expansion Pre-Application Scope Summary of March 19, 2019.
The attached memo containing Fire and Emergency Service comments was read by
Corey K, in Corey Thomas’ absence.
Rohini read her review comments with regard to water, sanitary sewer, surface water,
transportation and general civil, as documented in the attached March 28, 2019 memo.
City of Renton would like to review the traffic study two weeks before the SEPA
application. The City noted the closure of the north end of Burnett Road, as a
consideration in the traffic study. The City indicated the traffic study may undergo a
secondary review, by an outside Reviewer.
Alex summarized his review comments in the attached April 4, 2019 memo. The review
comments discussed in greater length are: the City’s expectation of a parking analysis;
an emphasis on aesthetics and low visual impact at the perimeter wall and landscaping.

The review time of SEPA application is estimated to be 14-16 weeks. A public hearing
will be required.
The City’s reply to Boeing’s request for waivers may be submitted with the SEPA
application.
The SEPA application needs to include studies on neighborhood impacts such as
traffic/parking, lighting, noise, visual aesthetics.
The proposed construction schedule is December 2019 through the fourth quarter of
2021.
