OF PUBLIC HEARING POSTED TO NOTIFY INTERESTED PERSONS OF A PUBLIC HEARING PROJECT NAME: PACCAR PRE-LOAD SOIL RETENTION PROJECT NUMBER: LUA16-000620, SA-H LOCATION: 1400 N 4th St DESCRIPTION: Applicant is requesting a Special Grade and Fill Permit and Site Plan Review to retain the remaining pre-load soils that were used to construct the now completed Paccar Parts and Distribution Center located at 1400 N. 4th Street. The total amount of pre-load soils to be retained is 139,000 cubic yards and is located in the 9.5 acre vacant southwest portion of the Paccar property adjacent to the N. 4th Street and Garden Avenue N. frontages. The applicant proposes to retain the pre-load soils until the area is developed in the future. The date of future development has not yet been determined by the applicant. The subject property is within the Employment Area (EA) land use designation and Heavy Industrial (IH) zoning district. An Addendum to the Determination of Non-Significance - Mitigated (DNS-M) was issued June 15, 2015. The addendum determined the retention of the pre-load surcharge materials for the distribution facility on the western area of the site, along with proposed mitigation, would not change the analysis or impacts in the State Environmental Policy Act (SEPA) Review. A PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE HELD BY THE RENTON HEARING EXAMINER AT HIS REGULAR MEETING IN THE COUNCIL CHAMBERS ON THE 7TH FLOOR OF CITY HALL, 1055 SOUTH GRADY WAY, RENTON, WASHINGTON, ON FEBRUARY 21, 2017 AT 11:00 AM TO CONSIDER THE SITE PLAN REVIEW AND GRADE AND FILL PERMIT.
